Oklahoma Regulations § 230:30-7-14 Verifying voter registration information and status of in-person absentee voters

(a)
The Absentee Voting Board members are required to verify the registration information of each voter who applies for an in-person absentee ballot. The County Election Board Secretary shall instruct the Absentee Voting Board members to use a computer with access to the MESA software to verify voter registration information and status.
(b)
County Election Board personnel shall place a computer with access to the Internet and MESA the software at the inperson absentee polling place location and shall prepare the terminal for use. County Election Board personnel shall teach the Absentee Voting Board members to use MESA to find voter registration information about each applicant for in-person absentee ballots. In the event that a voter's registration information cannot be found in MESA, the Absentee Voting Board members may refer to the Central File to verify voter registration. The Absentee Voting Board member shall locate the voter's original registration form in the Central File. If an applicant's eligibility is confirmed in the Central File, ask a County Election Board staff member for assistance to determine the correct ballot style to issue. If the applicant's voter registration cannot be verified either in MESA or the Central File, issue a provisional ballot as outlined in
