Oklahoma Regulations § 230:40-7-71 Resolutions for annexation elections
Regulation Text
A resolution calling for an annexation election, including the ballot title information, shall be submitted to the Secretary of the County Election Board by the State Superintendent of Public Instruction not less than 60 days before the election. The resolution shall contain all the same information outlined in
230:40-7-3
. In addition, the resolution shall specify the voters eligible to vote in the election according to one of the following options:
(1)
All voters registered in the school district being annexed may vote in the election.
(2)
Only the voters registered in the specific area affected by the annexation may vote in the election.
