Oregon Regulations § 165-020-0021 Record Retention for Preparation of Notice of Election of Board Members for Special Districts

(1)
In accordance with ORS
255.069
(4)
the election officer shall retain completed SEL 815, Notice of Election of Board Members for Special Districts, filed by the district elections authority in a file maintained for that purpose. All forms shall be kept for a period of at least 4 years after the district election for which the form was completed.
(2)
To maintain adequate records for preparation of the SEL 815 by the elections officer, the district elections authority must notify the elections officer of any vacancy as soon as practicable. If the vacancy occurs after the 101st day before the regular district election and on or before the 62nd day before the regular district election, the district elections authority must immediately notify the elections officer, but not later than the next business day.
(3)
When a person is appointed to fill a vacancy in a district office, the district elections authority must give written notice to the elections officer within two business days after such appointment is made.
