Pennsylvania Statutes § 3595.501 Duties of secretary

Up to Congressional Redistricting Act of 2002

The secretary has the following duties:
(1) By 12 noon on April 25, 2002, the secretary shall make a determination as to whether an injunction prohibiting the Commonwealth from conducting the 2002 election for Representatives in Congress in accordance with the redistricting plan contained in Act 1 of 2002 remains in effect.
(2) On April 25, 2002, if the secretary determines that an injunction prohibiting the Commonwealth from conducting the 2002 election for Representatives in Congress in accordance with the redistricting plan contained in Act 1 of 2002 does not remain in effect, the secretary shall transmit notice of that determination to the Legislative Reference Bureau for publication in the Pennsylvania Bulletin.
(3) On April 25, 2002, if the secretary determines that an injunction prohibiting the Commonwealth from conducting the 2002 election for Representatives in Congress in accordance with the redistricting plan contained in Act 1 of 2002 remains in effect, the secretary shall transmit notice of that determination to the Legislative Reference Bureau for publication in the Pennsylvania Bulletin.
(4) Publish on the department's World Wide Web site a map of this Commonwealth showing all congressional districts established.
