These rules and regulations are adopted by the Board of Elections for the purpose of implementing the voter identification ("Voter ID") requirements of R.I. Gen. Laws §
17-19-24.2
and to address those voter identification issues not otherwise specifically referred to in the Rhode Island General laws.
