South Carolina Statutes § 7-11-71 Petitions in election for commissioners of public service districts
Statute Text
Notwithstanding the provisions of Section
7-11-70
, petitions to nominate candidates elected in the general election to serve as commissioners of public service districts shall require signatures of not less than two hundred fifty qualified electors of the district concerned or five percent of the total number of electors of the district, whichever is the lesser, if such petitions are otherwise in compliance with this chapter.
