South Dakota Regulations § 5:02:05:00 Official stamp for ballots - All elections
Regulation Text
The county auditor or officer charged with the conduct of a local election shall ensure that each official ballot for each election is stamped with an official stamp containing the following information:
OFFICIAL BALLOT
(NAME OF COUNTY, SCHOOL DISTRICT, MUNICIPALITY, OR OTHER POLITICAL SUBDIVISION)
(Precinct name or number or both)
SOUTH DAKOTA
The county auditor or officer charged with the conduct of a local election may use the abbreviation "SD" in place of "South Dakota" and "Cty" in place of "County".
