The certificate of retention for Supreme Court justice shall be in the following form:

STATE OF SOUTH DAKOTA

CERTIFICATE OF RETENTION

THIS IS TO CERTIFY that on the _____ day of November, 20____, at a general election,

was retained by the qualified voters of the State of South Dakota in the office of Supreme Court Justice for the term of eight years beginning on the _____ day of January, 20____.
