South Dakota Regulations § 5:02:16:05 Comparison of registration list and pollbook
Regulation Text
The counting board shall begin the vote count by counting the ballots as prescribed in §§
5:02:16:06
to
5:02:16:08
, inclusive. If the ballot count does not agree with the number of voters in the pollbook, a comparison of the voters in the pollbook and the registration list shall be made and any mistakes corrected. If a mistake is made otherwise, the board by majority vote shall decide.
