South Dakota Regulations § 5:02:16:36 Recapitulation sheet
Regulation Text
In elections using hand-counted paper ballots, a recapitulation sheet in the following form shall be filled out indicating the disposition of the ballots:
Ballots received from auditor

Ballots received after polls open

Absentee ballots received
|
__________
|
|
Total ballots received
|
__________
|
|
Regular voted ballots
|
__________
|
|
Provisional ballots
|
__________
|
|
Unused ballots
|
__________

|
Spoiled ballots
|
__________
|
|
Total ballots returned
|
__________
|
|
Total ballots received and total ballots returned should be the same number.
|
This recapitulation sheet, together with the spoiled and unused ballots, shall be returned to the person in charge of the election. It shall not be placed in the ballot box.
