South Dakota Statutes § 12-15-14.1 Counting boards in smaller precincts to avoid unreasonable delay

Notwithstanding §
12-15-14
, the county auditor may appoint counting boards in those precincts where the number of ballots to be voted on paper ballots, including absentee ballots, has in prior elections unreasonably delayed the completion of the ballot count even though the total number of ballots cast in prior elections did not exceed three hundred voters.
