South Dakota Statutes § 12-22-6 Time of commencement of contest of presidential election
Statute Text
Any such contest as to the election of presidential electors shall not be instituted at any time after the expiration of the time limit prescribed by §
12-22-5
. In case any person or persons entitled to institute such contest as to presidential electors, claim that for any reason returns from any precinct or precincts should be eliminated in the determination of the result, or that any ballots should be eliminated, such contest may be instituted at any time after the election and prior to the expiration of such time limit.
