Tennessee Statutes § 2-2-126 Keeping of original and duplicate registration records
Statute Text
(a)
Once the person is registered, the administrator of elections shall file the original permanent registration record alphabetically in the master file of all the registered voters in the county.
(b)
The coordinator of elections shall devise a method to be followed for the filing and preservation of postal card registrations and computerized duplicate registration records in any county utilizing a computerized voter registration system.
