Texas Statutes § 32.005 Judges for Elections of Other Political Subdivisions
Statute Text
(a)
The governing body of a political subdivision other than a county shall appoint the election judges for elections ordered by an authority of the political subdivision.
(b)
The governing body shall determine whether appointments under Subsection (a) are for a single election or for a definite term not to exceed two years. If appointments are made for a term, the governing body shall set the duration and beginning date of the term and shall fill vacancies in unexpired terms.
