Statute Text
(a)
Each member of an early voting ballot board and each member of a signature verification committee is entitled to take any notes reasonably necessary to perform the member's duties under this chapter.
(b)
Notes taken under this section may not contain personally identifiable information.
(c)
Each member who takes notes under this section shall sign the notes and deliver them to the presiding judge or committee chair, as applicable, for delivery to the custodian of election records.
(d)
Notes collected under this section shall be preserved in the same manner as precinct election records under Section 66.058.
