Utah Statutes § 20A-3a-201 Voting methods
Statute Text
(1)
Except for an election conducted entirely by mail under Section
20A-7-609.5
, a voter may vote as follows:
(a)
by mail;
(b)
at a polling place during early voting hours;
(c)
at a polling place on election day when the polls are open;
(d)
if the voter is an individual with a disability, by voting remotely, via a mechanical ballot or via electronic means if approved by the election officer;
(e)
electronically or via a federal write-in absentee ballot if the voter is a covered voter, as defined in Section
20A-16-102
; or
(f)
by emergency ballot, in accordance with Part 3, Emergency Ballots.
(2)
A voter may not vote at a polling place if the voter voted by mail or in a manner described in Subsections (1)(d) through (f).
