Virginia Regulations § 1VAC20-50-40 Review of canceled voter petition

A.
Pursuant to the requirements of §
24.2-506
B
of the Code of Virginia, in the event a petition signer's voter registration status is canceled at the time of processing petition signatures:
1.
The petition signer's name and reason for cancelation must be recorded on a list.
2.
A list of canceled voter petition signatures must be retained by the reviewing entity with the candidate's petition page.
B.
The candidate's petition page and the list of canceled voter petition signatures may be provided to the appropriate authorities pursuant to §
24.2-1016
of the Code of Virginia.
