Washington Regulations § 434-335-550 Direct recording electronic target area tests
Regulation Text
Each county employing a direct recording electronic voting device must conduct a test to confirm that the target area indicated on each ballot face is programmed correctly. If the direct recording electronic device is going to be employed as an electronic ballot marker, the county must follow the requirements of WAC
434-335-560
. Otherwise, the county must test each device to ensure that the programming is correctly counting and accumulating every office, measure, and selection by the voter.
