Wyoming Statutes § 22-24-323 Petitions; payment for signatures; misrepresentation of petition; prohibition; penalty
Statute Text
(a)
A circulator of an initiative petition or a person who causes the circulation of an initiative petition may not pay or offer to pay any compensation to another person for that person's signature on the initiative petition.
(b)
A circulator of an initiative petition or a person who causes the circulation of an initiative petition shall not collect another person's signature on the petition by knowingly making a false statement with respect to or otherwise misrepresenting the proposed law contained within the initiative petition. A violation of this subsection is subject to the penalty imposed under
